Care Instructions

Avoid Water Saturation: This product is highly sensitive to moisture. Liquid contact will leave permanent water marks and ring stains on the Duchess satin surface.

Keep Away from Heat: High temperatures can warp the internal foam structure and melt the synthetic polyester fibres. Keep the bag away from radiators, hair dryers, and open flames.

Chemical Safety: Apply perfumes, hairsprays, and body lotions fully before handling your bag. These products contain alcohol and chemicals that can strip the brass plating and stain the fabric.

Spot Clean Only: Address accidental spills immediately. Do not submerge, machine wash, or dry clean this item.

Dabbing Technique: Use a clean, dry, white microfibre cloth to gently dab away fresh liquids. Never rub or scrub the satin, as this will fray the delicate weave and permanently ruin the lustre.

Handling Dried Stains: For dried-on dirt, use a barely damp cloth with a tiny drop of eco-friendly, mild detergent. Gently dab the area, then follow with a dry cloth to absorb any remaining moisture instantly.

Hardware Maintenance: Wipe the brass-plated magnetic clasp with a dry, lint-free cloth after use to remove fingerprint oils and prevent premature tarnishing. Never use metal polishes or chemical cleaners.

Protect the Weave: Duchess satin is prone to snagging. Be mindful of rough surfaces, sharp jewellery, sequins, or abrasive clothing textures when wearing the bag.

Weight Limits: Do not overfill the bag. Excessive weight can stretch the satin seams and permanently deform the internal foam structure.

Clasp Operation: To open the bag, slide your fingers close to the magnetic snap and gently pull it apart. Avoid pulling directly on the fabric or strap to prevent tearing the satin or displacing the internal interfacing.

Weather Alert: Guard the bag against heavy rain. If it accidentally gets wet, blot it dry immediately with a soft towel and let it air-dry naturally at room temperature.

Use a Dust Bag: Store the item inside the included breathable cotton dust bag to protect the polyester fibres from settling dust and accidental snags. Never store it in a plastic bag, which traps moisture and causes mildew.

Correct Positioning: Store the bag sitting upright on a shelf or flat.

Environment: Keep your storage area cool, dark, and completely dry. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will fade the rich colours over time.
